Events and Attractions
Laramie, home to the University of Wyoming since 1887, is located 46 miles west of Cheyenne, 65 miles NW of Fort Collins, Colorado and 30 minutes east of the Snowy Range. The highest point on Interstate 80 (8,640 ft.) is located seven miles east of Laramie at the Sherman Hill Summit Rest Area and the Lincoln Monument.
Laramie has a multitude of services: places to stay, eat and shop, sporting goods stores, grocery stores, a full-service hospital, a recreation center, the Laramie River Greenbelt walk/run/skate/bike path and six museums.
Events and Attractions
 Laramie Jubilee Days is Laramie’s largest annual celebration. This year’s 70th annual week-long events include PRCA rodeos, bull riding, horse shows, carnivals, parades, street dances, pancake breakfasts, a chili cookoff, a brew fest and a concert on the July 4th. Dates: July 3-11, 2010.
