About Us
For the past 13 years, my family and I have extensively explored the Snowy, Sierra Madre and Pole Mountain Ranges in southern Wyoming. We've slept under the stars in almost every campground, hiked, mountain biked and skied a variety of trails (including those leading to the highest peaks in the Snowy Range), and seen amazing views from atop the Continental Divide.
Living in the Upper North Platte River Valley, we have had access to some of the simple pleasures of life. Peaceful, crisp mornings, the roar of mountain waters rushing to meet the River, a whiff of elk through the pine trees, alpine meadows streaked with pink elephant heads and purple asters, bald eagles soaring across clear, blue skies, and pronghorn antelope moving swiftly across the plains. These images and so many more describe this part of Wyoming, where wildlife clearly outnumber people.
I am a Wyoming native and have traveled all over the state. It's no secret that I love this part of Wyoming. Or that I want to share it with others. As President of Visions In Progress (V. I. P.) Marketing, LLC, I strive to produce the most informative publication about southern Wyoming. Thanks to the support of my advertisers, VIP’s Snowy Range & Sierra Madre Mountain Recreation Guide is in its tenth year of print. Years of research have gone into this Guide. There is pride in my work--it is my greatest desire that users and advertisers alike will benefit from its content.
