The Laramie Area Visitor Center and the Albany County Tourism Board work to obtain national and international recogni- tion for Albany County, to showcase the area as a multi-seasonal destination having endless possibilities, and to realize full visitor potential. Albany County and Laramie are a place where visitors can explore Wyoming's western heritage through the Wyoming Territorial Prison and the Historic Ivinson Mansion.
