Camping & Picnic Areas

PICNIC AREAS
Picnicking is a great way to celebrate an occasion or simply enjoy a day in the outdoors. Most picnic areas are located close to lakes and reservoirs; all have restrooms, trash cans and drinking water available. Overnight camping is not allowed in picnic areas unless posted.
Unique to Pole Mountain is the Vedauwoo Picnic Area Gazebo, which is available for rent for up to 20 people. A Special Use Permit is required for more than 20 people from the Laramie District Ranger Office at 2468 Jackson Street Laramie, WY 82070; 307-745-2300.
