Area Overview

The Medicine Bow National Forest is forged from three mountain ranges: the Laramie Range, which includes Pole Mountain (east), the Snowy Range (center) and the Sierra Madre Mountain Range (west). Each is diverse in its topography and climate, creating unlimited opportunities for fishing, floating and boating, hiking, mountain biking, horsebackriding, rock climbing and ATVs, camping, hunting and wildlife viewing and snowmobiling and skiing.
